Today I shall rock out to Cee Lo Green's The Lady Killer. Amazing record, truly a gem of 2010.

Oh I'm getting a feeling that today will not be a good day. Not in the slightest.
comixbookgurl:
Was it?
oddityodyssey:
Strangely enough it was, but not for me. My day was actually rather subdued. Probably because I only slept two hours last night.

Fuck me, I think I need a new stylus for my turntable. This is a tragedy of the highest order.

This year has felt more like a decade than a year. Way too much crammed into too little time.
lumo:
I can relate to that!
comixbookgurl:
I totally understand that

Kind of a sticky situation. Friend of the family is trying to broker a diamond deal. Normally I wouldn't have a problem with this but the family friend (ex-family actually) can't go on our insurance nor would I want her on the policy. Various reason why and any one of them is enough on their own to make me twitchy. Just a bad vibe.

Still not quite up and running again. Things seem a mess but really aren't. Trying to find my habits. Need more energy than I have right now.

Been decidedly out of pocket the past month. Birthday, lots of work, depression-induced leathargy, figuring out costume, a few dates and a realization that my liver doesn't like me all that much. Scrambling back to the top of the hill but it feels all a bit Sisyphian. Seriously need my head examined.
vellin:
so did you end up finding a good halloween costume?
comixbookgurl:
its gonna be ok

This is one of those seminal songs that changed everything when it was originally released. After the first time it was played on BBC radio the Pet Shop Boys almost gave up music because they couldn't think of besting New Order. Glad they didn't, but it does tell you how groundbreaking this song was at the time.

I'm so glad you didn't mention that god awful cover by that band that shall remain nameless.
