Some bands immediately turn me off because they're presented as a band I'm supposed to like. Actually, scratch that. Anything presented as something I'm supposed to like tends to turn me off. Only with music this effect is amplified. So it has been with The Drums. Didn't care when their EP came out. Actively avoided them, in point of fact. Now the initial noise has died down as the band preps it's self-titled LP and this damn song has infected me. So like blankets with small pox, I'm giving this to you.
