Take a woman you love. Take a woman you only like. Tell her how you feel. Tell her of your interest in her. Tell the truth. Tell her of passion, of love, of discovery. Tell her of realization. Don't hide it from yourself. Don't lie. Don't pretend. Follow the path of honesty, loyalty and faith. Speak only truths. Enumerate them. Give details, instances, examples. Describe, as best you can, what lies in your gut. Describe your heart, your soul. Pour yourself into words. Good words, excellent words, words only spoken in trust. Speak in words that go beyond the realm of logic. Speak the impossible. Speak in words that only make themselves manifest.
Now have those words thrown back at you. Watch your words tumble from up on high. Witness not the rejection of those words, but of their death. Feel your words disseminate--denigrated and ignored. Keep watching now. Don't avert your eyes. For you must bear witness. The emotion that created those words is dying. The passionate fire is doused. The desire to better yourself is poisoned. You are now and forever more denied that emotion. Thus you are denied those words. Meaningless, they dissipate. Without value they are rendered worthless. That which produced such words--you heart and soul--has no place in this reality.
Existence continues. Existence of you. Existence of her. Existence of everything that brought you to the words you spoke. Those destitute, homeless words. True words they remain. True words left in the cold.
She is not to blame. Her crime is mere manslaughter. No indictment, no trial. That grand assembly, jury to souls, lacks conviction. She is not to account for her crime for no crime was committed. So says the jury.
Reconciliation is not possible. Impossible words do not find reconciliation. You cannot explain. You cannot reason. You cannot justify that which does not exist in this reality. They are merely words. Empty, devoid of meaning, failures. Your truth does not, cannot exist to her. She will not acknowledge words that lack meaning. Her crime is not a crime when her reality cannot accept your truth.
Try as you might the story of those words will not affect her. Just as your truth lies beyond logic so too does her reality lie beyond your truth. You cannot fault her for denying words untrue in her reality. You don't exist in that reality. Once, before the words, you did. She acknowledged your existence. You did exist to her. Now? Now you forfeit your existence. For a brief instant your words had meaning. That meaning, for a brief instant of existence, destroyed itself. She cannot allow that meaning to exist. Thus, she cannot acknowledge that you exist.
