II've been trying to keep busy with designing and making my own samples for a clothing line I'm developing. Every thing is still a work in progress at the moment, I'm designing then creating the pattern myself in my size and then sewing it up to see what it looks like and what adjustments need to be made and so on.
I thought I'd show you two of the finished products I have so far!
This is a shaped bodysuit with an oversized hood made from black cotton jersey. I'm so in love with it and so proud!! It took me a while to perfect the pattern but I'm really happy with how it's turned out! I will soon start making these to sell but I'm unsure whether to make them custom to order so they fit perfectly or to make them to size (ie size 10, 12 etc) I'm also considering printing on them.
This is a black stretch velvet and pink organza bralette. This one is just a rough attempt because I'm still working out whether if I lined it it would be stiff enough or if I need to use underwire. I do intend to make matching panties.
If anyone has any ideas of something they would like feel free to hit me up, I'm always looking for inspiration and people to try stuff out on!
