i saw one of the greatest things ive ever seen the other day. i was walking out of work and on the trunk of a car there was a baby praying mantis. it was bright green and big enough to fit on the tip of my finger. imagine the intracasy and awsomeness of a praying mantis crammed into the tip of your finger. when i first saw it i immediatly wanted to pick it up and own it but it was on a car and i didnt want to set off the car alarm. it stopped me dead in my tracks and i watched it for a min.. well this is my sad ass journal, i miss that little praying mantis.

one summer i stepped out onto the back poch and there was a mantis LYING DOWN. just taking a nap in the sun or something. i saw it... then it saw me. it got up and gave me a really dirty look, then walked away. i spent the whole day telling everyone i saw that i caught a praying mantis taking a nap.
