I am in Kentucky until the end of February, working on finally getting my driver's license. And I am not calling up my old friends or trying to make new ones until I get that card because I refuse to ask for rides any longer. That girl, the perfect navigator, the shotgun sally, she and I have parted ways.
Somehow it took moving away from the car's domain to make me feel this way. I am unaccustomed to getting rides now. I get myself where I want to go. And I can do it here too. Very soon.

I just have a matter of a few hours before I'm ready to take my driver's test, but MD state law says I have to get them through an official driving school.
I'm not sure if our laws are only for minors or not. It's worth looking into.
