Back in New York. Trying to get my gumption up.
Made a food pilgrimage to the Doughnut Plant yesterday, and while ambling along, munching my doughnut, discovered The Pickle Guys on Essex St. I got a quart of full-sour pickles and they are awesome. I can't wait to try their kraut, tomatoes, carrots, anything but olives.
This makes me so happy I'm no longer stuck in the Orlampan suburbs.
Orlampa sounds like something out of Star Wars. Actually, I watched the entire trilogy this weekend. And there is no reason we have to see Hayden Christensen at the end of Jedi. Lucas can't leave well enough alone and it saddens me.
Anyhow, I think I'll go eat a pickle.
