Okay, hell of a week, kids.

Since you last heard from me my dad's been in and come home from the hospital. Turns out it's not a big deal, just high blood pressure and some sort of abnormality he's had since birth that has a talent for throwing off an EKG. But I had a very hard 24 hours there (which began on a Greyhound out of NYC and wound down as I killed time before my acting class--great for concentration). I'm sure he had 3 or 4 hard days, though, so I shouldn't whine about it too much.

I've very much been tired all week, considering the start I got on it. So no time for much of anything.

I also went on an outing of sorts with one of the theatre's board members. She took me out to a fancy dinner and a show a mutual friend was in. Great fun, and a real treat for me.

But the biggest treat of all was the sunshine and warm weather today. I sat in the sun with my shoes off and began the great quest that is learning to crochet. I have a fantasy of being able to someday make my own armwarmers. It was a happy day. I got a slight and interesting sunburn pattern on my right side. I was angled for optimum lighting on my crocheting and not for symmetrical tanning. And I drank a margarita outside.

But I am tired after this week and am going to bed early, even though it is Saturday. Lame? Perhaps. Greetings to those whose presence I should be enjoying right now. I tip my hat to your undeniable coolness.
