Picked up a couple of CD's today
Neurosis - The Eye of Every Storm
and
Tribes of Neurot - Grace (the counterpart to the Neurosis - 'Times of Grace' album, two expressions of the same vision created by two sides of the same collective of artists)
This in addition to three CD's I have on order right now......

Just read in the paper than an old classmate of mine died a couple of days ago. This itself doesn't bother me. What's kinda fucked up though is that it makes the 6th person from my class to have died. Getting drunk on Midsummer definitely counts. I think that's mostly what you do... and get laid if you can. 
Thanks re: the work. I'm building a smelter so I can make some steel from the Land here... going to make a blade with some meteorite that I have.

Have a good Midsummer... I went out this morning and marked the Solstice sunrise for some rock art and tonight I'll be having a bonfire with some Kin. I'll raise a horn to those who have awakened both far and near! Hail Sunna!!!!

Last night sucked. Severe storms knocked down power lines across several counties. Power went out around 7:30 last evening and didn't get back on until around 10:00 this morning. So last night was spent sitting in the dark, bored, and suffocatingly hot.

Went to St. Louis to visit the Science Centre there with my sister and nephew today. Lot's of really cool stuff there, had a lot of fun....
....Until we left that is. Then my sister's car wouldn't start. Dead battery. She started to jump the gun and call home to see if dad or someone could come pick us up, about a 2 and 1/2...
