Finally got to get out with my girlfriend last night. We haven't really been able to go out in a long time. We, along with a couple of friends, went to this local bar had a few beers, shot pool for awhile and endured the most godaweful band. I swear all the local bands around here suck and do nothing but covers, but this band was paritculiarly bad. They managed to fuck up every song they played, even the ones that sucked anyway (which was pretty much every song they did). And the singer had this whiney, high throated voice that grated on my nerves. but fuck it, at least we got out of the house for a bit.
