I have my last exam today. Stupid Motivational Psychology. Its really not all that motivating, its a fucking biology course essentially.

Hey, did you know that adrenalin causes motivation? Holy no shit batman!
Did you know that we are biologically wired to seek sex and pro-create? Nooooo really? I never would have thought that we are like every other animal on the planet!

So I get to study terms that describe these biological entities. Woo....

Where is the actual psychological portion of it? How do motives develop in an individual? Why is one person motivated to be tied up with whips and chains, while another poor soul is reduced to enjoying vanilla sex.

I'd rather move up the pyramid of the hierarchy of needs past the biological to find the reasoning behind one person being easily satisfied, while another constantly suffers in desire to the same end.

Is it based off a world/religious view? Are such things biologically based as well, so one person is actually born to suffer for their wants and needs in order to achieve them, while others are born into complacency?

Man I need to do some philosophical readings...gack.
