AAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGHGGGHHHHH!!!!

I'm losing grip. Wife needs to come home now.

Just saw Run Ronnie Run. If you don't like Mr. Show (or are completely unfamiliar with it, which, by the way, makes you lame), you won't like this.

Listen to Aesop Rock. Now.
azrael_abyss:
haha, PCU was fuckin' hilarious. Now I want to watch that movie.

I need to pick up the second season of Mr. Show. I heard Run Ronnie Run wasn't that good, but I still want to see it and judge it for myself. Anywho. Talk to you later.

*sniffle* i'm lame!!!!!

I took a piano lesson Monday. It was cool. I learned more theory in 45 minutes than I learned in 16 years playing guitar. My teacher was a crazy old German lady. She was nice in an angry German way.

Wife is home in 10 days. Rock.
azrael_abyss:
haha angry Germans are fabulous! All the germans on base here are freakin' funny as hell.

YAY for your wife coming home!

I'm so bored I want to fucking die. I'm so bored, yet somehow, I'm too lazy to do anything.

I have pics now. I'm super special.

Well, I'm back from London again. Part II was more fun. Thanksgiving was spent in a pub with 11 other people from Tennessee (home) who just happened to be there. It was wierd. Good times were shared by all.
rumpusparable:
welcome back! we had a delayed thanksgiving (one of our two guests had staff duty on actual thanksgiving).. a pretty good night.

Sweet Jesus. My DSL password expired or something last week. I've been disconnected since thursday.

I'm back now. Sweet relief.

I'm a cat owner now. I picked up two older cats from this lady today.

I want dogs, but my wife is convinced that we would never be able to travel and we would get sick of walking them all of the time. Plus post housing isn't really designed for dog ownership.

I suppose I agree.
rumpusparable:
congrats on cats.

read back, yeah, you'd think we'd all just get our close-living asses around and hook up or something.... but who am i to talk, right lol? we all seem to be looking around the site going "well, we ought to.... so what do you think?"

we could find something happening centrally in germany or something and meet up so that travel wasn't too bad for everyone....

but i've no idea what.

but i agree, housing (at least that which i've seen around here) is not really dog-friendly... at ft. lewis it was pretty well, but here the apartments are pretty small & jammed together.

OK. Surfing around this site it seems that all us Germany people agree we should get together. In a country roughly the size of Montana, this shouldn't be difficult.

But where? And When? I am befuckled. New Years?

I'm yearning for a clique. And street gang politics.

Help me out.

I was digging through my old tapes and found one I made about five years ago.

Side one: Mineral "the power of falling"

Side two: Team Dresch.

Best. Tape. Ever.

Stupid sexy Flanders.

Well, my wife went to London to go to this make up artist school. She's gone until right before christmas. The good part of this is that we now have access to cheaper lodging there (as in free). I went last weekend. It was cool. The best part was the language. Yes, ladies and gentlement, English. I've been drowning in German (and my anglo guilt...

Oh how nice it must be to have English speaking people around you everywhere. That's why I can't wait to go back to the states! How much longer do you have here in Gemany?
saltboy13:

I'm back. London was cool. I'm hung over. More Later.

Welcome back! You were at Terremoto too? Awesome festival. I was front row for most of the bands. I was leaving to my tent when Placebo was playing. I faintly heard them doing a cover of 'Where is my mind' from the 'Pixies' as I was walking down that long ass road.

yeah, the Hurry Up and Wait routine gets old fast. i hate not knowing the whens. i can take separation, short or long notice, weird hours, whatever... i just darnwell like to know what's going on -which, of course, is the least likely thing with the Army, right?

i'm not stressing though.. settled down into the old holding pattern. at least nowadays i'm not the one that has to wear the goofy/uncomfortable outfits during it haha.

glad to hear the London trip was cool. i'm looking forward to a return trip this year or maybe next. gotta go back before i leave here.
