I'm a cat owner now. I picked up two older cats from this lady today.
I want dogs, but my wife is convinced that we would never be able to travel and we would get sick of walking them all of the time. Plus post housing isn't really designed for dog ownership.

read back, yeah, you'd think we'd all just get our close-living asses around and hook up or something.... but who am i to talk, right lol? we all seem to be looking around the site going "well, we ought to.... so what do you think?"
we could find something happening centrally in germany or something and meet up so that travel wasn't too bad for everyone....
but i've no idea what.
but i agree, housing (at least that which i've seen around here) is not really dog-friendly... at ft. lewis it was pretty well, but here the apartments are pretty small & jammed together.
