A chav is someone who, for example, hangs around on street corners, wears lots of 'bling' gold jewellery, gold hoops in their ears etc. The guys wear white tracksuits, flashy trainers and have shaved heads with baseball caps, and the girl chavs wear clothes that just look hideous on them, with like greasy hair and far too much makeup. They like shouting insults at passers-by etc..! They usually have no job either and often skip school if they are school age...
