I finished "Perdido Street Station" last night.
I was going to clean my room afterwards but I was utterly utterly spent.
As I reached the end I was crying and crying about the whole thing, It really is terrible, like a Tyrannosaurus type of Terrible. Frightening and powerful. Disturbingly, horrifyingly majestic. Heroic and awesome and tragic, tragic, tragic.
I closed the book and I hit it, then I clung to it like jilted lover, then I threw it down, then I banged my head against it and then covetously held it, and squeezed it as if I could get some tiny drops of rectification out and cried some more.
And I cursed your name. With love. With an ache that made me want to smack you and kiss you at the same time. It's not fair to make me love imaginary characters so much. And then put them through the worst hell imaginable.You even made me emotionally attached to a spider. And I'm arachnaphobic. that hasn't happend sisnce I first read Charlotte's web! You are amazing and I hate you and I will be reading The Scar as soon as I can get my hands on it.

thanks for the words on my haircut. it's pretty freaky to have it so short after so many years, but it also feels really good. and the cliche about low maintainence is so true. hello playa!
