Hey, the pile of xmas trees was, like 30 feet tall ! And then we lit it on FIRE! Fuck that was so awesome. Next year I want to stand a bunch all in a row along the water's edge and light them all on FIRE! My friend said "Dude that's all, 'Rivers and Tides', let's do it!"
There was a burning jump rope and people spinning fire and I brought my accordion and played quietly off to the side so as not to bother anyone. And,even though I think my throat is about to turn itself inside out in horror of its own state, I sang a bit...
I can't sing today though. This has made me very aware of the fact that I would be really fucking upset if I lost my ability to sing someday...You'd think that this would be impetus to treat myself a little better.....
Lucidus took some awesome pics of the burn and I can't wait til he posts them. I should be with him and Juliana at the Degas thing, but I'm not.
