I have been filled with a peaceful sense of joyous love for existence today. It's a feeling I seldom have and I reveled in it. Seriously, I wish I could feel like that all the time. It was almost disconcerting, Where is the fear and anguish and jealousy and paranoia and guilt and confusion and ambuiguity that fills most of my days? On holiday, I guess.
I had a great time with my friends. I played my new mix and got a few more people who want copies...yay! I like that people like the music that I like enough to want to play it at their houses.
And they loved the bacon cheese rolls and the cranberry bread I brought. I told my housemate he should take a picture bcse I was actually cooking! it's like bigfoot or the loch ness monster.
here is some music to chill to ... Big Mike is djmike and although he don't talk much on here (much to my chagrin)you could go say hi. He would be surprised and confused.Better yet, go listen to his set,Then come back and tell him how great it is. His set (among the many stellar performances that weekend) is super bad ass in that hip grinding ,hands in the air kind of way. He does this fantabulous live mix of eminem and daft punk near the end that is so funky and funny it rocks my world. Bumpin!!

Sometimes I feel like ccomputers are just really long boring video games where you have to sit there and figure out all the secret shortcuts and magic spots on the screen that give you what you need. Once in a while someone will tell you, but most of the time you have to just try every combo. Kind of exasperating-- but it does bring satisfaction when you finally do figure another thing out.

I think you have it exactly right about computers. But some people are good enough at the game that it isn't boring to them.
heheh... i wish everyone thought of computers like that, then maybe we wouldn't have to work so hard to make video games for em.
actually it would be a pretty emersive game if you could box it up and advertise nice... like a web browser that had a really complex ai that would just mess with ya in a creative intelligent way that related to you.
the pictures on that chill site are really nice btw
