One of the promoters of a show I've got coming up calls me Ms. Macabre and thinks I'm a freak because of all the (disappearing) fake blood and cartoonish violence in my show. Don't tell him, but the show I'm putting together for him involves a murderous widow, self-mutilation with knives, being shot in the head by vengeful demons and taken down to hell where I get my horns. All fully choreographed and involving 3 sets of costumes! Gawd, I love my job!!! You so have to get back into it!

"Is this desire" is...okay. I think "Stories..." is better. Dancehall at Louse Point is great (with John Parish) because it's nuts and variously sexy and grating in a brilliant way. I think I can identify with what you're saying, but I think my problem is a little different. I have constant dips in my self confidence where I become convinced that people just put up with me because they're nice, but would really not prefer to hang out with me. Hopefully hanging out more will convince me otherwise. And I hope you'll stick around for that.

I did figure photography once, but that's all. Well, I was on the other side of the easel a lot too, lots of figure drawing experience. Just not being naked in front of a class, but I wouldn't mind it I imagine.
