hating my job today. It's standard practice at my work to not have to go on call when your on vacation (your on vacation you shouldn't have to think about work let alone be tied to a beeper where people can page you 24/7) yet since I'm the lowly resident this must not apply to me. Also when on call you can't be intoxicated because your dealing with the patients. So I can't drink on my vacation. I'm going to Minnesota. I believe drinking is a state pastime there.
