i got to go up in a reputedly haunted portion of the southgate house w/ several of the girls and we had some issues w/ maddy's ex being an asshole. fun night! the CCV is a local "community values" group that was able to pressure the southgate house into limiting the skin shown etc... we're not too happy 'bout that so next time a show happens we're going to travel out of state for it.

I'll send some emails around for you, but like I said most of the people I know are in NYC. Can't hurt to try though, right? Two of the kids who worked on Kottentail, Brian and Justin, are in LA and working steadily. I think you'll do very well there.

I hadn't heard that about Justin. A couple months ago I spoke with Brian and he mentioned that both he and Justin were working with Winston and were working on the new NOTLD action figures. Last time Brian emailed me he didn't mention Justin though so maybe the rumors at school are true. That's a shame, seemed like a nice kid from the couple days I worked with him. I haven't talked to Chris M. since Kottentail, don't know how he's doing. I thought he and Brian planned to go into business together but Brian's never mentioned him so I assume that fell through. Haven't talked to Sarah or Heather either. IMHO, Brian was the most talented and dedicated of the Douglas students I met. Took his work very seriously even for an ultra-low budget flick.
The guys I'm talking to for Hunting Season are great. Marcus and Jesus. They're in NYC and have worked on a lot of really good horror movies. I hope I can finalize things with them and bring them on board.
I sent a couple emails out to the few LA folks I know. Asked them to spread the word too.
