Well I can barely believe I have the gigs I do arranged already but I can officially say that I am totally starting my career in the wedding photography field for at least a while until my studio is up and running that is. lol. Here is the insane news that I am sorry to say it here; but "proud" to announce....
I have 2 weddings booked as the professional photographer... already one in June on the 25th and one in July on the 7th of this year. No shit peeps...It hasn't kicked in to me just yet I do not believe. Another good note though, just 2 days of wedding shoot work is more than I could make in 2 months most other average places anywhere for sure! lol. I also have another 2 wedding/event gigs and possibly more there afterwards as well.
More news...Thanks to the kind invitation I also will be flying, training, or busing it (depending on whats cheaper on my pocket that is) to a photography event that my SPS group I am part of is sponsoring in January 2012...Best of all guess where it will be??? New Orleans, LA oh yeah thats right! Oh, and the best part is I get free hotel and grub the entire time there even. The way it works for me is this...I will only have to help out by meeting and greeting other photographers and helping out in simply ways that are needed for only a few hours a day, at the same time I am meeting fabulous photographers and learning a tip or three from the event itself, and best of all...it's one more way for me to get my work out there to the bigger crowd on these days if I want as well. So yeah there is one more excitement in my life book of recent great news.
Only have a few days of spring break left though now... so photography practice shoots, free practice gigs I'm set to do for close ones, and schooling mixed in with my daily family life shit sure is going to be a tough one again in a couple days again. Oh well though...way I look at it if I can handle these multiple random things all at one time...then I should be able to handle any pressure am I right? lol.
Hmmmm...Now I feel like listening to some "Queen" speaking of "pressure" lmao. Thats a bet...Talk to all you lovely men and ladies later with more updates as things progress I promise. Who knows maybe I could be coming to shoot near you soon! lmao. jk.
