So, ya know how you make these little promises to yourself that don't really mean much at the time... pormises like: I'm gonna quit smoking tomorrow, or I'm really not gonna speed anymore, or (while you're hugging the toilet) I'm never drinking again.... well I made a promise to myself that I would love to keep... I want to watch the sunset and sunrise, if not everyday then just more often. Since I've been in Iraq I have gained a much larger respect for life. I haven't really seen anything too scary, but I have seen the poverty and lifestyle and it is enough for me.. I wish that I could upload a few pictures that I have taken, I will soon. The people here have close to nothing, but they seem to be as happy as can be (not all of them of course, you still have your assholes that like to play with bombs a stuff)... So pretty much I would like to know a promise that you have made to yourself that you thought would have been great but something made you act or think otherwise...
