Day 2 of no smoking and I am starting to feel a bit odd. I don't have any cravings, nor do i really miss it. This disturbs me because of the amount i was smoking i was pretty sure i was going to have some severe withdrawal but nadda, zi,p zilcho. oh well guess I should count my blessings.

Congrats on the no smoking! Thats awesome! I've tried to quit a few times, but decided that it was a lost cause until I get out of school.
Okay day 1 of Operation No Smoking. Not once today have I craved a cigarette. Which is really amazing considering I was smoking 5 or 6 (yes you read that right) packs a day.. I was literally killing myself. And I was smoking camel wides without the filters. I was breaking them off. THe only part of today that made me think about it was...

Tomorrow starts the first part of my I MUST QUIT SMOKING routine. I hope to God I don't cave in. I just have to quit I know I do. If I can do that then I can start running and working out again without problems. Wish me luck.

In 2 more days I am going to quit smoking. I am sure at that point I will see things like Bill Hicks who said that cigarette looks like it was rolled by jesus and moistened shut by the cunt lips of the virgin mary. I am also sure that I will be the most ripe bastard on the planet, but I have to do...

You know I watched the first season of Angel. I have to say that I was extremly impressed by it. It amazed me the reoccuring theme of the story. I believed after watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer that I was going to be inudiated with sophomoric and assinine humor but hell no. I have to get the rest of the series and watch them. I...

Angel gets better. Believe me, season one, not the strongest. It definitely improves a lot.... you have much to look forward to with that series.
I read your comment on my page regarding the vet thing. I totally agree with what you're saying. As I said, when my work allows me time, I want to volunteer in an animal clinic to get a taste of the reality. That part of the job - putting an animal down - has been the one thing to make me hesitate. I've thought about it a lot. My hope would be that, if I can be part of a life of an animal, whether it be a healthy new born, or an annual check up, or an injury, or an old suffering animal, I would like to offer as much love and affection, and support for them as possible. I might only meet them once, but I'd like to know that for that brief moment of their life, whatever that might be, I made them as comfortable and protected feeling as possible. If I had to be a part of putting down a suffering animal, I would agonize, no doubt. But I think it would be worth my agony to stroke an old suffering dog's face and tell him that he's such a good boy, before he goes. I feel that someone should.
Anyway, any further advice you can give me on the subject I would most definitely appreciate!
Thanks again,
Amok

I believe the only school around here, Toronto, is Seneca College. I actually just emailed someone from the vet department today to see if I can set up a meeting with them. It's been a while since I've been a student, and I'd like some advice of what route I should take to further my chances as a mature student. I don't know, I might have to take a chemistry course or something to improve my chances of getting in. Volunteering will help for sure. I'll let you know what they say.
Thanks again for your support on this.... your advice is most valuable!

Lets see. I got my ass kicked in the league game. I feel like an idiot now since I used to play for money. I am totally obsessed with fractals now and keep making them as seen in my photo section. My life is uncomplicating itself I think. I could be wrong. I dunno. The only nagging problem I have is that I keep wondering...

And if you're not getting from SG what everyone else is getting, then you're not doing things right. Do u want to meet ppl? Start posting messages to the boards, join groups and post in them ... post away!!! Thats how u make friends here! If u see someone's journal that looks interesting, post to them! Make friends, get yourself out there! That, to me, is what this site is all abt! I have met so many cool peeps from SG!

Well my obsession with fractals has taken a turn for the worse. I've found a program that lets me create visual images haha. I wish I understood the math behind it better but they are so damn pretty. I put one in my pictures folder and I am going to try and make more.

Okay my life is getting twisted. I got offered a job interview in NY for a job I applied for and was turned down for 7 months ago hahah. Which puts me near Canada the place I've been trying to get to for a year and a half. I just don't understand life some times.
