I just saw Secretary last night. Great fucking movie.
It's funny, all the people I know who say they are into S&M, B&D, they all seem like bullshit posers to me. That's why I never got into it. Plus, I don't really have a submissive nature, and I'm WAY too disorganized to be a dom.
But nobody I know gets really into the psychological, 24/7, mindfuck kind of play. There's a series of books that are fantastic... The Marketplace Series. After reading those books, I realized that I just didn't have it in me to do the whole sub/dom thing the RIGHT way, so I decided to not do it at all. Plus, I'm a sucker for romance and true eye-to-eye heart-to-heart emotion, and it seems to me like that kind of relationship would just be barrier to that.
I don't know. Maybe I just don't know enough about the real-life practices.
Has anyone out there ever had a live-in slave or master, or been in a relationship that was ALWAYS a control/controlled thing? I'm curious to hear about it.
