Nah, Kathleen Turner Overdrive isn't a real band... just the coolest band name ever thought up. That Jack Black cracks me up.
So I put a pic in my profile... it was a choice between this one, and one of me on a motorcycle. I'm still not sure which one I like best, so I think after a week or so I'll put up the second one, and see which one everyone likes.
So forgive the pessimism of my last journal entry... I was just being pissy. I'm much better now. Viva la mood swings!
How does one meet friends in this strange online "community"? I see everyone has a huge list of friends, and I have none. I guess you just hang out in the "Boards", and chat about whatnot and heretofore...

I'll add you to my "Friends" list, but I think that name is misleading.
To me, you are friends with someone after you have talked to them for a while, and you find out what you have in common, what you DON'T have in common, make each other laugh, and whatnot.
So let's just say that for now, I'm another EmilyFan. Once we get to know each other, then I'll think I've earned the title of "Friend".
