hey people! I haven't posted on here in a long fuckin time (thanks to school work and such) so apologies if this seems rather lengthy. thought I'd make it such because it's been so long, so here goes 
spring's finally here! about damn time, I was getting real sick of the cold. although the rain this weekend didn't help much
but regardless, I'm glad it's here. perfect weather for being outside reading a good book or throwing a frisbee around with friends.
recently got the new Mars Volta album, and I'm lovin it! I've fallen a bit behind on music lately, but I've picked up a lot of other stuff recently too like Suicide Silence's The Black Crown, a couple dubstep mix albums, couple Strokes albums...good stuff. correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard that 5 Finger Death Punch is in the process of writing/recording a new album, so if that's true I'm lookin forward to that.
speaking of music, Gym Class Heroes came to UMBC! hardly anybody bought tickets and showed up, but regardless the show was a blast. had a great fuckin time and it was awesome seeing Travis and the rest of the band after listening to them for so many years. got a sweet picture and a few videos of the show I may put up soon.
in other news, if you've noticed my "star wars week" headliner thing, if it's not already apparent I've been on a huge star wars binge and obsession lately. I ended up buying the Book of Jedi, Vault Edition, read the whole book in a day, bought me a 20 buck double sided darth maul toy saber, and I plan on buying one of the Force FX sabers just to have and have the closest thing in existence to a real lightsaber as I can get me and a couple other friends are also planning on running through the dorm with toy sabers in a 2 v 2 jedi vs. sith saber duel. should turn out to be interesting...but fun none the less 
haven't been keeping up with the gaming all that much, although I am pretty psyched for some recent announcements and some future games with release dates for this year. can't wait for the Crysis 3 gameplay trailer tomorrow (here's to hoping it's as bad ass as Crysis 2, which I picked up for 7 bucks recently on sale), haven't played much ME3, picked up Battlefield 3, got Bioshock 1 & 2 on PC, got back into some L4D2, can't wait for bioshock infinite or Diablo 3...the list goes on
Almost done with the final draft of my chest piece as well! I'll definitely be posting a picture or two once it's finally done. Definitely getting that sometime this summer
well that's enough ranting. time to actually be productive now
only 3 more weeks left in the semester though, pretty damn psyched. Take it easy people, stay chill. Deuces for now
