i am fully aware noone REALLY cares about my tribulations with my bike... but you CAN fake being a nice and caring person right? we all watched magnolia, right? 
however, i today went to the shop, stole a skewer (with permission of course!) and it fits! oh joy of joys it fits, and now my back wheel is damned solid, i can't wait to get out riding.
yesterday i went riding on my other bike, the DH one this is... phil picked me up and we whizzed down to sheffield in his audi. which was nice. only as we were getting there it was bloody SLINGING it down! not to worry though, we were riding anyway... with little streams coming down the courses as we rode them! exhilaration indeed... i bent my saddle, but i don't care. it was great
the drive back was funny as hell, phil has an oldish audi, but that DOESN'T make it slow by any means... watching the dial... 100... 110... 120... 130... 140... 150... 155... WOAH phil! in the bloody rain!!
fun though.
after we got back, i was dropped off and then a little later i met him and his quite frankly GORGEOUS girl at the pub before we went off and met a couple of her lapdancer mates... ooooh it was a night and a half
oh and in case you wondered, when i say met, i don't mean 'paid them to strip'. we just met them in the pub because they are friends of phil's gf, so yeah... just to clear that up.
got in at like 5am and slept ALL day which was nice too.
only downer now is that i'm totally skint
