I have just recently realized that not too many of you guys out there in internetland know too much about me. I dunno if that means that I don't really write that much about myself or if my life just isn't that exciting. Well, here is going to be a first attempt at telling you a few things about myself that you might not have already known.
I am an eagle scout and know how to tie lots of knots. I worked at scout camp as a canoe instructor. The kids I taught were more interested in playing fish baseball than canoeing. Damn you Beavis and Butthead.
I have been a skateboarder since I was 12. I broke my right wrist once while skateboarding when I was 13. I have skated ever since. Skateboarding is lots harder when you are 30. At least I have health insurance.
I have been going to punk rock shows since I was about 15. All those skatepunk bands are where its at. NOFX, BAD RELIGION, STRUNG OUT, facetoface types.....
I am a sticker junkie. I have stickers on EVERYTHING! Everything from SG stickers to unamerican stickers. Some of my favorites include: fuck work, OBEY GIANT, grafitti makes sense, free the west memphis three, skate and destory, and andre the giant has a posse.
I like art. Right now, I love Shepard Fairey, Frank Kozik, Banksy, and lots of other graff. artists.....
My favorite color is orange and my family means alot to me. My mother and father are still happily married and my brother lives in Pittsburgh. I love hanging out in the iron city.....
OK, here is the deal, if you actually read down this far, you are obligated to at least tell me 3 things about you that you think I don't already know. If you have questions for me you are allowed to ask those as well.

1) I went to boot camp twice. First time was for the reserves (Navy) straight out of high school. When Gulf War 1 hit, I knew I wanted more. My commanding officer actually approved my request to go into active duty AND to leave the Navy in order to join the Marines. Was very cool of him.
Only a complete moron would subject themselves to boot camp twice. Even if Navy boot camp was for pansies compared to that of my beloved Corps.
2) I went through a skateboarding "phase" as a teenager. I injured my foot and gave it up because it impacted my swimming. I was a competitive swimmer at the time and it was a lot more important to me.
3) I own a lightsaber. (This you knew already). But ah ha! I -USED- to own two of them... and I sent one to Eli. Hers is green. Mine is blue. I also have a jedi robe... but refuse to wear it until I actually have a complete outfit to embarrass myself in.
2. I brew my own beer and pop.
3. I currently have a mini-crush on that Kari girl from Mythbusters.
