I actually went to IKEA and DIDN'T spend over 100 dollars!! We just got a brand spanking new one in a suburb of Detroit and it is AWESOME!! I already have new silverware and a comforter all picked out!
I am going to Toledo tomorrow to kick it with my moms and grandma. My grandma is getting old. But old people are cool!! She reminds me of a much simpler time. A time without cable TV and the internet. A time which I can't stop thinking that I might somehow belong in....

Interesting about hand-written letters. You know, way back in the early 90s when I went to Marine Corps boot camp it was letters that kept me so motivated. I can't possibly express how important they were. I had a girlfiriend back home at the time and she wrote me at least 4 times a week. Man that felt great. Chow and mail-call... what we lived for during those 13 weeks of awesome hell.
The BF is good. Hopefully you can meet him when you come visit.
