Bleh, I'm sick. I've been having hot and cold flashes for two days. (I think it might be menopause.) Anyway, I am doing nothing, resting up and hoping to recover in time to rip it up at my party this Saturday.

Drunk hotties at the V.C. encouraged me and my friend Angie to do shots and then invited us dancing with them to Lola's. So we went! And fun was had. It wasn't a mind-bending bachhanal, but a fun, moderately adventurous evening anyway. Angie said I was a good dancer, which is nice because I usually assume I look like a fool.

One of the things I really like about inner SE Portland is I can always hear the sounds of the trains at night. There's something mysterious and comforting at the same time about hearing the low moan of a train horn while you're lying in bed.
