Okay, let's see... I had food poisoning that kind of kept me occupied for a few days. Then a funeral for a friend. Now I'm working on picking my new headshots to have printed and talking to a studio about redoing my voice-over demo.
I have a crush on a barfly I met at the L & L. Good lord can that girl drink. We're going out on Monday. I like her. She's cute, smart, and fun to talk to but she may be a *bit* too crazy. Or if not exactly crazy, then perhaps overly issue-laden. We'll see. If we spend one more evening talking about her asshole ex-BFs, I'm outta there (3 out of 3 is just too much). I have the feeling that she's the kind of girl who wants to go out with a guy who's more of, um, well... more of a selfish manipulative asshole than I am.
Why am I attracted to the psychologically mal-adjusted ones? Wait a minute... that kinda sounds like I have the same problem I reference above. Oops, I think I kinda stumbled into the too-much-self-knowledge zone right there.
All that adside, I want more fun in my life. More joyful savoring of the good times. More evenings that result in embarrasing photos. Who's with me?
