Tonight a group of friends and I are off the the Metro to see the Polkaholics --a punk/polka band that sounds a lot like the Dead Milkmen. (And ladies, take note: I actually can polka.) But first, we're hitting the Brauhaus for some spaetzle, sauerbraten, bratwurst and other assorted Germanic-type food. I suspect numerous Old Styles will flow down my gullet in the process. After, we might visit another bar, or perhaps annex the Sudetenland--whichever seems like more fun.

I am so excited to get back to Chicago..I miss it so much...currently my friend is trying to twist my arm to go on a vacation with her..but if i go i have to cut my summer vacation short..I can't afford it all...but she won a costa Rica vacation from B 96..which i think it would be hilarious for like an hour...but then i think the booty music and the loud drunken fratness of the occasion would make me want to drown myself in the ocean..so I think I"m sticking to my Chicago/LA vacation...hmmmm I wonder if there are any good concerts that week...I miss the Chicago music scene.....
