Greetings from Tillamook, OR, home of the noted cheese factory and many cows.

Progress is slower than I had hoped. Chilling rains and strong headwinds on the coast yesterday sapped my will to live, let alone continue bicycling. I stayed in Tillamook for the night and am now heading off. I hope to make 70 or so miles today and be at Beverly State Park this evening.

Will I really make it to SF by a week from Friday? Mmmm... looking doubtful just now. Updates later.

I'm sorry to hear that the weather is not cooperating. Get some cheese soup while you're there, that ought to warm you up. Here's to hoping you have the wind at your back for the rest of the trip.
