Bleh, sick today--but I'm feeling better than yesterday, so hopefully this malaise in on the wane.
Turkey day was fun. I went to a dinner with a bunch of old Reedie friends. I made a fairly succesful pumpkin soup and a quite tasty cranberry sauce (with orange and ginger).
In professional news: I landed the on-camera/voice-over agent I wanted, which is a very good thing. I've got a taped audition on Monday for a Microsoft training video (oh yes, that's the big time, baby). I've also got a voice-over job lined up for December, so I'm feeling not displeased at my progress in that area.
As for artistic fulfilment--I've gotta find a show to be in soon. I'm not picky, just something where I walk around and say stuff and people laugh and applaud after. That's not too much to hope for, I think. In the meantine, I leave you with a quote I just ran across that I am rather fond of:
"Drinking when we are not thirsty and making love all year round, madam, that is all there is to distinguish us from other animals."

Oh man this is going to sound bad. I think her name was Sheela? Or Sheena? Maybe this isn't such a good idea after all.

nixon:
It was kinda like a Tarts show with more fire and less boobies. They did a few really neat two-girl trapeze stunts, and some good fire dancing, but it really wasn't worth the $8 cover. The club is pretty net inside though. (I.C. Mummy's at San Rafael and Martin Luther King)
