Okay, it might be bragging, but I have to mention that I just hooked up with a girl I've had a crush on for 8 years. It was swell. I've had enough flings of dubious advisability that I truly appreciate the feeling of lying next to someone after and thinking about what a a great idea this was and how happy I am to be there. (As opposed to the "oh, gee, I've got to get out of here" feeling.)

She's swell, it was swell, I'm swell and the world is a happy place.

In other news, I just went to the Meow Meow to see The Badger King and Wolf Colonel. I heart TBK--they're kind of a garage electronica duo with an operatic flair and they like to do robot dances. They make me very happy.
