I'm scheduled for nightmares tonight, so I figure I might as well be drunk. Mission accomoplished. Several beers at the twisted spoke--a fine bar but, $6 beeers! $6beers! GOOD GOD, only in my personal vision of hell do draught beers cost $6. If I didn't know the bartender...
Anyway after that I hit Friar Tucks, talked tiki bars with some U of C math profs. Then on to the 7-11 where I get assaulted by a bum. Seriously. I just walked up and theis guy threw a roundhouse at me. I was drunk, but he was drunker so I executed a respectable block and pushed him away. I think I should have gotten a free goodie out of the deal (rice crispie treat, perhaps?), but no such luck.
That is the story of my Monday night. I was not in a good mood.
