Thanks for all the crossing of digits. I had an audition with an a top agent in Chicago for voice-over work. She's part of a large agency that specializes in the kind of union VO work I so want to get into. If they want to take me on it will end up changing my travel plans--I'll put off going to L.A. for the chance to work with these guys here and get some experience. That way when I eventually go I can move to L.A. as a working professional rather than an aspiring amateur.
It ended up going quite well. She says she wants to represent me but has to run it through a committee and says she'll get back to me tomorrow.
