yippie! i made it back. i did not realize it was Bridge Day down in fayetteville WV. it was raining and sleeting and cold and wet and down right miserable, but we rafted anyways, and saw them jump from the bridge. it was pretty "freakin' rad".
sunday was a lot better, a little warmer, no rain, the sun was out and we were rafting the Gauley. "freakin' rad!"
freakin' rad is the phrase we're trying to bring back from our childhood.
MISERABLE is how i feel today. tired, and sick and sore. ALL WORTH IT!!
questions for y'all: (i am starting to talk hillbilly)
1) ever done something that goes against any rational thought? ~going rafting when the air is 36 degrees!
2) ever been sitting there, and look at the person you are with, your bf or gf, and realize that they are someone you want to be with? beyond the sex and that initial attraction? ~yes, this weekend we had a blast, and i don't know anyone else i would have wanted to share it with.
3) ever hear a totally outragious story and wish it had happened to you? ~a guide told us about how he was saved by a 350 lb guy in his raft because as the guide was falling out of the raft, he stuck his foot up the guys ass and pulled himself back up. we were all laughing SO hard.
