Didn't have anything going on today, so H and I went out to the horse track.

I put on my jacket tonight and got three surprises.

1) $40 in the inside pocket
2) Old plane tickets from LA to Dallas from several months ago
3) A bus ticket from the Granada (Spain) airport to central Granada from March of last year.


And I wear this jacket all the time. Seriously.

i had a dream about you last night. we were eating at Fred's and you started yelling at me about Bukowski and I hit you on the head with one of his books somehow.
Then Linda showed up and we were suddenly in Austin at Katz's eating fried pickles, and then all these wierd San Fran rockabilly guys form the tattoo shop next door to my house showed up and then suddenly we moved again and were in your kitchen and Henry was laying on the floor moaning about having to do all the dishes.
Seriously.
this is my brain when deprived of gourmet food for too long I think...

I have developed a habit of sleeping no more than 4 hours a night for the last week or so, just so that I can cram a social life in around my work hours.

It's painful, but worth it.

Got an offer.

Took it.

They want me to start in 4 to 6 weeks, when the place opens.

Only thing is, I still have to wait until my current job hires someone to replace my old boss before I can leave.
