Well, I've landed. Got in yesterday afternoon, and was promptly reminded how strange Los Angeles life can be

But since I was merely an observer and not a participant, I don't quite feel at leave to go into other peoples' details.

But yeah, this place is definitely a different world.

Today I get busy looking for work.

I was struck by how much it liooked liked all the tv shows I used to watch. I loved it though.
You are probably better off there than at your last stop; I wondered if that girl's fiance was inside for armed robbery.

I'm done with the D.C./Maryland/Virginia area. Off to Nashville in a couple hours.

Nothing exciting to report aside from seeing friends from different times / areas of my life around here, which was the whole point.

Apparently, half of the highways in Pennsylvania are closed down to one lane right now, so getting from one side of this state to the other is quite a chore. I spent at least an hour just sitting on I-80 without moving at all, and a lot more time going no faster than about 40mph. Bleh.

Chicago rolls on....

Did some bowling Sunday night, took 2 out of 3. Went bowling all of like 3 times in London over the whole 10 months, so I was damn surprised that I rolled as well as I did.
