So I'm getting laid off as of the end of the year. Dec. 31 is my last day. At least they gave me warning, but it's not like any place around is going to hire anyone over the course of the holidays. So I'm quite possibly completely fucked.

Anyways. One of my best friends just had a baby daughter. She had a seizure when she was 2 days old and suffered brain damage. They don't know if it will have any lasting effects yet. Just more great news to go along with the rest.
