So my last day at my old job was Friday. On Sunday morning, my new job called to say I couldn't start working until November, which left me in a spot to find a place that wanted to hire me for 3 months.

So I made a few phone calls and sent a couple emails, and 6 hours later I found myself as sous chef at a new French place that's opening up in downtown LA. Final health inspection is this week, and next Monday we start prepping and training. One week off will be nice for me.
