2am drunken update
no shows that really interested me were on tonight. there were a couple that sounded mildly interesting but not enough to deter me from my thursday night routine of sitting at the bar getting hammered with T'Slats and my favorite bartendress. yeah, she's still my favorite drink vendor in town. funny ... i was telling 'Slats at the bar about how i was pretty much off shots these days, how mostly i just had a few glasses of whiskey and then called it a night and got out. as i was on my last drink, the bartendress came over .... "ready for a shot?" of course i have no willpower to resist that, so we raised glasses and knocked that shit down. Hau weg den Sheiss, as my friends in berlin would say.

my current favorite song is "The Saint" by the Vexers ... listened to it probably about 10 times today

those of you that haven't heard this band .... fuck, just buy the CD, it's worth it. and they're supposed to do a big tour again in the Fall, so go see em, they fucking rip. me, 'Slats,dollface, and pilar saw em open for the Epoxies a while back and we all loved 'em. they're even better live than the CD, but the CD is still worth it. plus, the singer loves bowling! it doesn't get much cooler
