hey hey bowler dude. so you went the that ten by ten thingie, huh? i used to date the photo editor. he was the one that i got my kitty from. i am sure he was there. sometimes i still get an ouchie feeling cuz he totally dumped me. toothbrush guy. yup.
anyway, i have written a bunch of postcards, i am about to drop them off and go get a pedicure, (my poor feet have been overworked) and then a night on the town. i found a fucking fabulous bar in soho that has sexy bartenders and good drinks. they use totally fresh juices--squeeze as they go!
i love it here. i am going to move here. i realized after about ten minutes of being in london that i belong here. it is like finding my soul mate city. i never feel insecure. it is like i am cured of every self-deprecating nuance of my personality. i feel beautiful and stylish and i am surrounded by things i love and great music and delicious ales and everyone is so friendly and pleasant. and no guns. i mentioned bowling for columbine to a foxy rocker i spoke with last night at the yeah yeah yeahs show (by the way i am mad in love with karen o. she is one hot biscuit.). anyway, i recommended it to him. so many people are appauled with the states for the same reasons i am. over here, people enjoy life. they drink and smoke and dress well and appreciate art and culture and the sheer gift of being alive. and everyone i have met has been all over europe, if not the world.
so it is decided. i am leaving america asap. i have always dreamed of it, and now i am going to make it happen. i don't know how or when, but i am.
i catch myself smiling all the time. my eyes practically water with joy. i feel so alive and happy and ready to conquer the world.
this feeling is better than any drug i have ever had. well, i better get back to you on that statement--i leave for amsterdam tomorrow!
