The job thing looks like it's just about sorted.

Which means the girlfriend thing should be sorted very shortly after.

So we're "taking a break" or you know, "cooling things off" for a couple of weeks until I start a job somewhere else.

It's going to be really hard on me, but we both think it's the only way to keep things from totally collapsing, and 2 or 3 weeks isn't all that long.

I spent $360 on new bedding yesterday, so that my girlfriend would A) be warmer (I kind of like sleeping cold), and B) not have to sleep on sheets that my ex-wife ever slept on. It seems only fair.
