I really should be cleaning up my house. Have you ever been so bored that you can't even bother to get dressed and go find something to do because it takes too much energy? That is me this afternoon.
This morning was good, took a bath, finished my book (ooh, I could go to the library, find a book and do some research for my Spanish paper), went out to lunch, came home, chilled out in bed with my man before he went to work. Then I strolled around my usual erotica sites on the internet, nothing new posted to get off to, strolled around the boards here, everyone else must be out doing things.
I was going to work on my garden, but didn't bring any tools home from work because it was supposed to rain all day.. So I've got all these cute little baby plants outside, waiting to be planted and I still have the previous owner's scary version of bed-edging and mulch to clear away and get rid of.
I'm also contemplating going to John's Dark Corner tonight, which I just learned moved from the Barbary to Tribecca, but since I haven't been to Tribecca before, I'll probably punk out. I could call a classmate of mine that I just found out goes to a lot of the same places I do and see if he and his fiancee (two e's or one for the girl, I can't remember) are in the mood to go out. I almost fell out of my seat when I said something about goth/industrial night at Shampoo and he agreed with me. He comes to spanish class in dress pants and a button-down shirt every time!
What I really need to do is take off a Thursday and go listen to Knobby spin at Shampoo the night before.
Anyone doing anything good tonight that they'd like to invite a complete stranger to? Anyone have a good motivational speech about house-cleaning? How about a good motivational speech about finishing homework and working on my paper?
Well, I guess I'd better go look for my library card. I think homework is going to beat up housework for a few hours!
Hope you're all having a much more exciting Saturday night than I will be!

Funny, I was so close to going to school for Landscape Design/Horticulture. I bet you love what you do! I worked as a florist for over 5 years... (all through out college)
I worked on the backyard with my hubby for a few hours today (Before it rained) and it is still rewardng, but I can't wait for the house!
Good thing my order of books from Amazon arrived....
