So I have decided that I am going to shave my head for a piece in one of my videos. The video is going to be about my mother and how i have been dealing with her loss and what i learned from her. Now when my mother was going through chemotherapy, she had to have her head shaven before she began to loose all her hair. This was one of the hardest things for me to see because it was the first sense of reality for me that my mother was sick, and i wasn't sure if I was going to be able to look at her, and I just think back at how awful it was for me to think that with what she was going through, i couldn't bring myself to just see her with her head shaven. So in my piece as i talk about this moment in time I am going to film close up shots of me shaving my head but not knowing it is me so that you think it is just a visual of what i am talking about. But once i am done i will bring the camera away to show that it is me now with the shaven head. Sort of a way to express how much my mother weant through with her illness and how strong she was that the least i could do to show how much I love and respect her is to sacrifice my hair(which has never been shaved before so it will be a big shock and weird to see)
