Yay! I got my computer back, and it's good as new. Well better than new I suppose, since it was broke when i got it 
Been starting to get into a few school things there were a few meeting yesterday. Found a place I can come to with my computer that has airport so i can connect for free for once, although it is a ways from home.
Tomorrow is my first class as a graduate student!
getting settled in more and more each day, I even finally bought a bed for my room, well a futon but it works, doesn't actually come in until next tuesday though.
now to just find some good places to hang out at night.
