I think I've figured out what I'm gonna be for Halloween. It's such a big deal. I wanted to be a pirate two years ago, but it didn't work out for some reason. Anyway, after two years of being a faerie or an angel, I'm going to conquer pirate. Here's my inspiration:
All I've gotta get is the tulle for under the skirt. Everything else I pretty much have. Or could make really easily. I'm changing up the colors a little. I recently bought a dark raspberry colored off-the-shoulder shirt that will work great. I have a black skirt that I think will work in place of the burgandy one. And I just found out my stays are coming in sometime this week! Stays, for those of you that don't know, are basically the same as a corset. They're just the 18th century version. Not only that, but I got mine in leather! Rawr. I'm supa excited. I can also use my apron from over the summer. I just need a few other accessories and I'll be ready to go.
I agreed to go to my friend's Halloween party. With my boyfriend.
All I really want to do is hang out with Ryan. He'd actually appreciate the costume.

Any of the polluted water around here makes me sad, especially the beach. I know the Atlantic isn't brown in other areas, and the beach is so trashed during the summer. The portion of beach we saw at the campground wasn't too bad, but there were a lot of trash cans around. I wish people would take better care of Nature. It's sad to see it so abused.
