So yesterday was a fun and busy day. My friend Stacy was in town this weekend. She lives in Atlanta but is thinking of moving to NYC soon - she was here for some job interviews. Anyway, we met up at City Bakery for lunch and caught up on old times. City Bakery is an excellent place to grab a sandwich and/or some pastries/desserts/sweets by the way - it was my first time there but it definitely won't be my last. Anyway, I hope Stacy makes it up here - she's a really cool gal.

Last night I went down to the lower east side to this bar called Essex. It was kinda dead when I first got there but it soon became way too crowded. I met a pretty blonde though, and I found out that we had a lot in common. She's a lawyer too, and she also lived in Washington DC for awhile.

Anyways, I've already wasted most of this great weather day, so I'm gonna head out to Murray Hill to meet up with the lawyer to walk her dog.
